The article basically talks about how some kids from across the world are getting rich playing video games. One boy from the US, for example, made over $100,000 in cash and prizes winning video game competitions left and right. Amazing, eh?Here's the gist (plus a few of my personal inputs): To make money playing video games, here are a few things you can TRY:
1. Join major video game competitions, win the cash prize and be famous. Once you're famous, big brands might get you to be an endorser then you can start to make even more money.
2. Be the best at what you do then become a video gaming guru. Make money by charging fees to your students.
3. Be a video game tester. Get paid for testing video games. I believe there are some websites where you can sign up to do this, join these sites - just avoid scams.4. Create your own video games. You may start by creating iPhone game apps, which is kind of hot these days. Sell your game for $1 at the App store - quite low? Well, imagine selling 500,000 or even 1,000,000 copies. :)
There you go! I hope you find this helpful.
